Private Investor Visa


To apply for a Bangladesh visa as a Malaysian citizen, you will need the following documents and follow these steps:

  • Must book an appointment to visit the Visa Application Centre. You can visit either www.expatserviceskl.com or contact our help desk at 03-92120267.
  • You can fill up the online form here, and then download and print the submitted application form (4 pages, including the barcode page) to the centre.
  • Any mistake or incomplete application form will be not accepted. A new appointment would be required to visit the centre. Agent at the visa centre also can assist you to fill up the form with nominal fees.
  • Original passport with minimum 6 (six) months validity and a photocopy of your previous visa (if any).
  • Two (2) recent photographs (size: 45 mm X 35 mm) against white/blue background. The Photograph can be taken also at the Visa Centre.
  • Provide a letter of recommendation from the Ministry of Industries, Board of Investment (BOI), Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), or Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) in Dhaka.
  • Provide a letter accompanied by a copy of the trade license from the Bangladesh company.
  • Provide a letter from a local company (either a Malaysian company or another Malaysia-based company) accompanying the application, specifying the need for a private investor visa. The letter should be addressed to the Visa Section, Bangladesh High Commission, No. 5 (Lot 9 & 10), Jalan Sultan Yahya Petra, WP, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
  • You must pay all the fees at the visa application centre (Cash/Card).
